Hot 97; Who’s next competition

Anyone that knows me knows that I’m extremely proud of being Dominican and I practically bleed TIPICO, its embedded in my everyday routine. But, just as fast as I can sing any Banda Real song, Brooklyn raised me, and if Biggie comes on, I’ll recite every word to any song.

I follow hip hop and rap so that my knowledge in the Television and Radio field is diverse. So, it was no surprise that when I was at the Send2Print offices recently and Radamiz came in and put a request to print his business cards, I was beyond excited because I’ve been following this kids music for quite sometime. You’ll be surprised just how important something as simple as a business card is.
In the marketing field, it resonates with your clients, and potential business ventures can bloom rapidly because they know you are serious about your business. It’s a simple way to emphasize your professionalism, and Radamiz knew to come to the best printers in town in representing himself. His cards, shown below were beautifully crafted and are 16pt silk laminated with spot UV on his logo.

You know when you get that feeling when you meet someone and can’t seem to quite understand why they aren’t famous yet? Exactly my thoughts, but enough about me. LOL Just kidding, this kid Radamiz’s lyricism is on a whole ‘nother level. If you’re a hip connoisseur, listen to his music and you’ll know why. He’s a young humble 20 year old from Brooklyn, studying at NYU by day, and provoking thoughts with his music by night. His flow is beyond that of a professional for lack of a better term, and you can feel just how much he loves his music through every word he spits. Its real raw Brooklyn hip hop resurrected that anyone can relate to.

I couldn’t have said it better than one of his fans:

“I’m always impressed with the lyrical depth you achieve in your songs while preserving that gritty, smooth, street style you’ve always had”

My appreciation for GOOD music runs deep through my veins and I could go on for days about how impacting his music is but you wont know until you listen. So do yourself a favor :

The Business Card

Last week I visited my cousin in Clovis, New Mexico air force base. After spending much needed time resting we decided to go explore and learn some history on Clovis – a town filled with a whole lot of nothing to do.

We visited Blackwater Draw Museum. While exploring the small museum my eye caught the coolest thing ever, The Business Card!

Hanging on a corner with a spotlight over it were some neat handcrafted item that belonged to, The Official Indian Tribe Dealer, along with his Business Card!!! The remains have been noted to be 13,000 years old.

Begin in the printing business I’ve been told it’s a dying field but is it really?

A Business Card is a great way to increase business and personal contacts. It will be a long time before Apple, Microsoft or any other tech company is able to make the Business Card obsolete. And for those of you that may not be aware of it – yes, there is an App for that.

Hand out your contact information with confidence or inform more people about your business with the right business card from SEND 2 PRINTTribe Dealer Shadow Box

Hurricane Sandy: Sneak Peak release of Surviving Sandy Documentary

It’s no question that the natural disaster Hurricane Sandy affected everyone, not only in the Tri-state area, but all of the north east area.

The Send2Print family came together and collected donations for those families devastated by the storm, and on their journey to distribute the goods, “The Visual Vandal” Christian San Martin was there to film it every step of the way. Last night, Send2Print hosted an event where we were all welcomed to come together for a sneak preview of the “Surviving Sandy” documentary.

It was truly a heart wrenching film, a real life reel in to exactly what this storm did to the city that never sleeps. Like Pookie said, “I thought New York was untouchable” but this storm proved that even the biggest boulder cracks sometimes.

All of the love and support from the crowd last night at the release was a subtle reminder of New York’s resiliency, we ALWAYS bounce back.

Hurricane Sandy Charity Event

Hurricane Sandy is the biggest Atlantic storm in history. Millions of people in Northeast U.S. are still struggling to return to normalcy in its wake.

One of the biggest blessing of living in the U.S is when tragedy strikes WE STAND TOGETHER. After the storm many were left homeless, an amount that was difficult for our city to handle. The SEND2PRINT family began to accept donation in their 3 location not realizing how correct the slogan is “We Stand Together” in just a couple of weeks our stores were fill with donations.

Tonight we will premiere the documentary of Send2print’s Sandy Relief effort which began as just a collection of clothes and turned out to be a much larger effort of clothes donations. You are all invite tonight to Studio 21. The flyer is below, for more information contact any of the three Send2print store.Image
